  2. A buy locks your level. Sell there: 10%. Each stair the market climbs above you cuts 1%, down to 1%.
  3. That 10% pays who stayed. Dump tax lands on the stairs. Holders still in claim their share, proportional to their credit × how much they still hold. Sell the bag and your cut is 0: it stays with the rest.
